Werewolf outbreak at Eisteddfod

Over twenty visitors to the National Eisteddfod were killed last night when a gang of postmodernist bards from Bethesda transformed into large wolf-like beings, police confirmed today.

The victims, who have not yet been named by police, are said by eyewitnesses to have died from the trauma of having their limbs and heads forcibly removed from their torsos on Saturday night.

They were rushed to St. Davids Hospital (Cardiff) but were pronounced 'extremely dead' on arrival. The lycanthropic incident was said to have been sparked by the heavy consumption of alcohol and an argument concerning the use of traditional bardic measures in postmodernist Welsh novels.

The werewolves were last seen entering LLoyds No 1 Bar (The Crockerton) on Greyfriars Road where bad lighting made it impossible to distinguish them from the other guests.

South Wales Police are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, the Gorsedd of Bards has said it would crack down on the use of postmodernist constructs in Welsh prose.
